This was a commission I did for a friend who wanted a major art piece for a fictional series that he is in the process of creating. He wanted it to be a mix of 1920’s fashion with futuristic and sci-fi technology. He also wanted for there to be propaganda posters, because it’s set in a dystopian society. From these instructions and regular feedback I was able to use Photoshop to create and illustrate this piece for him. The street itself and the technology displayed doesn’t exist in real life so I had to make it up from scratch. I tried to incorporate the old with the new. I also learned how to create a glowing effect in Photoshop, in order to create the neon lights and holograms effectively.

Hello my name is Felicity Weston. I am an Animator, Illustrator and Designer who has a keen eye for detail, I always create high-quality work. I am a fast learner and enthusiastic to further develop my skills.
I am a passionate creative, and love to bring characters and objects to life through the form of animation. I am a fully qualified 3D Animator, who has had some experience with animating traditionally. I am fluent in using various art styles, ranging from realism, semi-realism, cartoons and stylised art forms. I create playful forms of work along with more serious pieces.
